About

I am a senior at Darien High School and am 18 years old. I enjoy coding and making art in my free time!
I'm planning to study computer science in college, and hope to work in cybersecurity in the future.

My current projects include a glove hand tracker, a drone, and this website!
You can find more information about my past and current projects in the Projects Tab.

Welcome

Hi there ! I'm Anoushka and this is my little site !!!

This whole site is based off of Windows 95 (if you couldn't tell already), and made using base css and js. I use some css from 98.CSS

You can use the shortcuts at the top of the screen to open up new tabs, just like a computer!

Glove Controller

Since the start of the school year, I've been working to create a fully internal glove controller. A glove controller is a type of controller often used for vr which measures hand and finger positions to control something digitally. Usually, they are made with external cameras and setup, but I wanted to create something fully internal using arduinos.

So far, I've been able to set up a gyroscope and arduino to read hand rotation and report it back to my computer. I'm currently working on creating a visualization of this input using OpenGL, and I plan to incorporate finger data in the future.

Drone

This year, our Aerospace Club has decided to build a drone! As one of the Presidents of the club, I've taken a role as the head of Electronics, working to plan out which motors, escs, arduinos, and other components we will need.

By the end of the year, we plan to having a fully functioning drone with a camera and a claw like grabbing mechanism at the bottom.

Website

This site has taken me a while to build fully, as I've been learning css, html, and js in the course of building it and therefore redid it many times before finally getting here. When I first built the site, I just wanted it to be a personal page, but I realized I could use it for more as well, as it really shows my personality and what I enjoy making.

This isn't the final form of this website, I plan to add a gallery for my art, a music player to show off my favorite songs, and a 'terminal' type interface for a small journal to put some thoughts.

Analyzing Peg Solitare Using Multiway Graphs

During the summer of 2024 I attended the Wolfram High School Summer Research Program, also known as WSRP. With the help of my mentor Adam Millar, I created a computational essay about Peg Solitaire game states, and how to graph them using multiway systems. You can find my full essay here.
Calculating Walkability

After my time at the Wolfram High School Summer Research Program, I was invited back for the Wolfram Emerging Leader Program. The program lasted around four months, and I worked with two other students to create a program to calculate the walkability of cities around the world. You can read the essay we created and more about the project we created here.
